The Diplôme National Supérieur Professionnel de Musicien (DNSPM—National University Diploma in Professional Music) provides high-level training as an artist-performer preparing students for careers as professional soloists, mastero or ensemble musicians.
This course focuses on practical training, professional placements and internships in close collaboration with renowned institutions such as the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, the Théâtre du Capitole, the Orchestre de Chambre de Toulouse, and so on.
The DNSPM is a first-cycle tertiary degree that belongs to the Répertoire National des Certifications Professionnelles at level 6 (third-year level). It is associated with a Bachelor of Music in partnership with University Toulouse — Jean Jaurès and enables the student to continue their studies to master’s level.
This course is coordinated in association with the Université Toulouse – Jean Jaurès (UT2J), the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional (CRR) de Toulouse, the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, Toulouse Guitare, Piano aux Jacobins, the SMAC (contemporary music scenes) of the Occitania region and l’École des Musiques Vivaces Music’Halle. These partnerships enable a combined course “DNSPM + Bachelor’s of Music – Performance option” at the UT2J.
In order to provide a more fine-tuned response to today’s professional world, the DNSPM programme is divided into four options:
Many exchange agreements allow isdaT students to go abroad for 1 to 2 semester(s). See the list of international partners here.
