Sandrine Tilly

Sandrine Tilly has been principal flute of the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse since 1998. She performs regularly as a soloist in most concertos in the repertoire as well as in chamber music. The duo that she has formed in 1993 with pianist Anne Le Bozec – awarded several prizes in international competitions – has been invited to prestigious festivals, while her concerts have been broadcast by France Musique, Mezzo and Sudwest Rundfunk. She studied at the CNSMD de Paris and won 1st prizes for flute (unanimous, under P.Y. Artaud) and chamber music. She perfected her skills with Patrick Gallois, Michel Moraguès, Aurèle Nicolet and Andréas Adorjan.

Eager to share her knowledge, Sandrine Tilly gives master classes in France, Venezuela, Korea and Japan. She is a regular flute teacher at the Orchestre français des jeunes and has just created her own summer course. Sandrine Tilly is a part of the “Preparation for a profession in orchestra” team and regularly invites Claude Roubichou, soloist from the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, to teach piccolo.
