The objective of the art option is to train artists and designers through artistic practice, associating the acquisition of know-how, theoretical training and the exploration of contemporary practices.
Based on this overall goal, the training aims to provide the most complete possible education within the field of contemporary creation, providing students with the possibility of acquiring artistic and cultural knowledge to a high level and the technical and technological skills that will enable them to build an autonomous and unique career path.
The isdaT fine arts course is characterised by the accent placed on “workshop culture”, through the acquisition of knowledge through the experience of media and techniques (iron, wood, casts/modelling, printmaking and engraving, traditional photography, painting, model-making) and modern technologies (digital sound and image, 3D images, programming, internet, etc.) enabling students to approach artistic thought through practice. This course is therefore both generalist and personalised, combining a theoretical dimension, a relationship to practice, research work and an examination of the role and status of the artist and the author.
